I havent really played for a few years now, but in my experience the cheap paint is junk. When I used to play a lot, I was poor, and I still bought the $60/case paint.

I think your rationale for going to this place is pretty weak, but you dont seem inclined to change your mind so thats all I will say there. As for the paint, I would buy a case and use it first, before you buy more, to see if it is any good.
