Re: issues - stumped and need options

Check grounds for engine, sporadic tps signal and idle control motor tells me there could be a bad ground. Maybe just unbolt, scrub clean, and re-bolt to start?

Re: issues - stumped and need options

Went out and tried to start the car - car started up and as soon as i tapped the gas it shut off. (did that three times) and now its back to not starting.

I pulled the fuel line off the fuel rail and then turned on the pump via link and gas comes out the line (turned pump on and off 10 times) each time fuel came out and stopped accordingly.

So im guessing its safe to say its not the fuel pump. So now what? FPR?

Edit: after posting i went back out and put the line back on and then turned the pump back on and FPR pressure was back to normal. Car then started right up with out issue.

Let it warm up and then took it around the neighborhood and block for about 10min and no issues....with fuel...still have other stuff needs work.

Im going to let it sit for 30min and then try to start it again and see what happens.

Car started roughly FPR gauge showed 30psi and then slowly lowered till it hit 15psi and car died. And wont start again.
